WBT - Basic Installation of a Keyscan System

Course Description

This course covers the technical requirements for the basic installation of a Keyscan access control system as well as the configuration and setup of hardware and software.

Content

The training session will cover the following subject matter:

• Review the questions the dealer needs to ask the prospective client to ensure the system is installed correctly.
• Review the list of equipment required for this type of installation.
• Review the installation requirements for the equipment.
• Review programming System VII so one card can perform a complete system test.

A brief question and answer period will be held at the end of the WBT seminar.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for the novice technician who has either not installed a system or has limited experience and would like to learn more about the installation of a basic system.
