Course Description

This course covers the technical requirements for installing a Keyscan access control system on a LAN/WAN.

Content

The training session will cover the following subject matter:

Available Products for Networking

• Review of NETCOMs
• Review of network structure used (LAN/WAN)

Software Installation

• Networking capabilities of System VII software
• Keyscan Client - involving remote connections and their respective IPs
• Database - firewall exceptions, DB connection errors, and changing DB location

Hardware

• Programming and connections of NETCOMs
• IP requirements
• Keyscan IP utilities

A brief question and answer period will be held at the end of the WBT seminar.

This course is designed for sales representatives or technicians who have no knowledge or limited knowledge and would like to learn more about networked access control.
